Native to Mediterranean Sea, rosemary is a labiate herb with green linear leaves. Its flowers, which are of light blue or light purple color, surround its stem axis to form flower strings, are bloomed from summer solstice to the early winter. Its Latin name, Rosemarinus, means dew of the sea, derived from its first appearance at a bluff of Mediterrranean sea .For thousands of years, rosemary is steeped in mysteries.
